Privacy Policy

What Lifio collects
- Account email. Lifio signs you in with a one-time email code or with Sign in with Apple. Your email address identifies your account on the relay server.
- Time entries you create. Entry names, categories, notes, and start/end times — the content you track. Entries sync to the relay so your devices stay consistent.
- Device identifier. A random per-device ID keeps each device's login session separate.
- Apple identity reference. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple provides a stable identifier so you return to the same account.
Where your data lives
- On your device first. Entries, categories, and the running timer live in a per-account database on your iPhone and work fully offline.
- On the relay server. A server hosted in the European Union stores your synced account, entries, and categories so the app can sign you in and sync across devices.
What Lifio never does
- No tracking, no analytics SDKs, no advertising.
- Your data is never sold or shared with third parties, except the infrastructure that delivers it (email delivery for login codes, hosting for the relay).
Deletion
- On-device data: Profile → Erase local data removes the account's data from that device.
- Full deletion including the server: email [email protected] from your login address and your account and synced data will be deleted. In-app full account deletion is on the roadmap and this policy will be updated when it ships.
Security
Traffic between the app and the relay uses TLS. Login codes and session tokens are stored server-side only as hashes, and app sessions live in the iOS Keychain on your device.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use of Lifio after a change means you accept the updated policy.
